Take a Course While Still in High School

I want to...
  • Re-direct to the High School Partnership program page.
  • Learn about taking a college course while still in high school (read on).
L&C is a great way to earn college credit while you’re still in high school. If you’re at least 16-years-old, you can enroll by simply following these steps:
  • Apply to L&C
  • Fill out and return our Concurrent Enrollment Packet
    • This 3-page packet includes a Concurrent Enrollment Form, which needs to be signed by your high school administrator, and a Memorandum of Understanding, which should be signed by a legal parent or guardian.
  • Take the College Placement Test. Exceptions can only be made by the Director of Enrollment for Admissions. If your placement test scores indicate the need for developmental courses, you will need the approval of the Director of Enrollment for Admissions and Records or the Registrar to enroll.
  • Meet with an academic advisor. Ask your high school counselor to call the Enrollment Center to talk with one of L&C’s academic advisors, who will help determine the most appropriate courses for you.
