Bursar

The Bursar's Office oversees all financial student account services for L&C. In addition to collecting and posting payments and managing installment plans, the Bursar’s Office may assist with identifying account charges, refund inquiries, and account holds.

(Questions about charges related to specific departments, such as the library and the bookstore, should be directed to those departments.)

A variety of  options are available for payment of tuition and fees:  
  • Cash
  • Check  (Payment by check may not be accepted on accounts which have had previous returned check activity.)
  • Debit/Credit Card (MasterCard, VISA, American Express or Discover only)
  • Financial Aid  (Please visit the Financial Aid Office in BA 2450.)
  • Installment Plan  (See below; May be completed in person or online.)
  • Employer Tuition Assistance
  • Online via BlazerNet
Installment Payment Plan
  • To qualify:
    • Your qualifying tuition and fees must equal $400 or more.
    • A promissory note must be signed/acknowledged.
  • A $15.00 non-refundable service fee will be charged upon acceptance to the plan.
  • An initial down payment will be required at the time the plan is established (service fee plus 1/3 of the tuition, per credit hour fees & lab fee charges, which are rounded up to the closest dollar).  
  • Make two more payments at four week intervals (2 weeks for summer session) to complete the total tuition and fee balance.
  • Textbooks and classroom supplies may not be charged to the plan.  
1098-T Information

A 1098-T form is a statement of qualified tuition and related expenses. These are mailed to students who have reportable transactions by January 31 of each year, or can be accessed electronically. Learn more about electronic 1098-T.
