Associate in Arts

The Associate in Arts degree is designed to complete the lower-division (freshman and sophomore) portion of a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree.

The Associate in Arts degree includes the transferable General Education Core Curriculum and the lower-division major field core courses recommended by the Illinois Articulation Initiative. The Associate in Arts degree is ideally suited for students seeking a Bachelor of Arts degree in areas such as liberal arts and sciences, English, psychology and many other fields.
