The Lewis & Clark Community College Math Division provides students with a solid foundation in mathematics as part of a degree program, a transfer degree program or to fulfill general education requirements.
Classes are offered in basic arithmetic, math applications, pre-algebra, intermediate and college algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, advanced level calculus classes, statistics, and differential equations, as well as a number of mathematics classes geared to specific requirements.
Math enrollment is the largest of all programs on campus, and as technology use increases, the demand for good math skills will continue to increase. There are currently 11 full-time instructors and more than twenty part-time instructors at Lewis and Clark. Our math faculty is highly qualified and committed to student success in the classroom. Class sizes do not exceed 25. Consequently, continual involvement in classroom discussions and activities is an expectation of students enrolled in any of our math courses at Lewis and Clark Community College.
