Science

The Lewis & Clark Community College Science Division provides students with a solid foundation in the sciences as part of a degree program, a transfer degree program or to fulfill general education requirements.  

The Science Division offers Illinois Transferable General Education courses that are Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI)-approved to transfer as general education core courses to any public and most private two- and four-year colleges in Illinois.

In addition, specific programs courses are offered in biology, chemistry, physics, physical sciences, and the environmental sciences. There are currently 12 full-time instructors and more than 20 part-time instructors at Lewis and Clark. Our science faculty is highly qualified and committed to student success in the classroom.
