What is “Introduction to Online Learning”?
This is a self-paced, non-credit course aimed at helping students develop the necessary skills to be successful online learners at no cost. It covers basic computer literacy, the attributes of a successful online learner, the technology needed, and the use of Blackboard, the course management system used at L&C.
All course work takes place in Blackboard; there are no on-campus meetings. Introduction to Online Learning must be completed in two weeks; however, because you can work at your own pace, you may finish it in less time. The average minimum time is 10 hours.
